Age of Empires Mobile incorporates a Gacha system, primarily used to collect heroes or hero fragments/medals. The game places special emphasis on the importance of joining and participating in Alliances. Alliances facilitate cooperative gameplay, such as helping each other (reducing timers), sharing resources (via Alliance Coins/Alliance Shop), and engaging in large-scale siege battles as well as events. Diplomacy and coordination are the keys to success.
Story
The game is set in a vast medieval world inspired by various historical empires and civilizations across different eras. The inclusion of iconic historical figures as collectible heroes—such as Joan of Arc, Leonidas, Caesar, King Arthur, Saladin, Guan Yu, and Cleopatra—adds a rich historical flavor.
Although there are single-player missions and possibly tutorial campaigns, the game appears not to feature a deep, linear historical campaign like its PC counterparts. Instead, the focus seems to be on sandbox-style empire building, alliance conflicts, and the collection of historical heroes within a broad historical theme. Environmental factors such as weather and terrain are also mentioned as having an impact on gameplay.

20 May, 2025– Vừa tải Age of Empires Mobile về chơi thử, cảm giác như được sống lại thời AoE trên PC! Đồ họa đẹp, đặc biệt là mấy trận đánh đông người, nhìn hoành tráng lắm.
– Mình thích vụ chọn các hero như Joan of Arc hay Miyamoto Musashi, skill mỗi người một kiểu, mix đội hình thấy thú vị. Có điều, mới chơi được 1 tiếng mà game cứ dẫn dắt liên tục như tutorial, hơi thiếu tự do.
20 May, 2025Trò chơi rất hay với đồ họa tuyệt vời và tôi cho 5 sao vì nỗ lực của nó, tôi rất thích F2P và tôi chưa bao giờ chi tiền cho trò chơi… nhưng hiện nay có rất nhiều người chơi than phiền về P2P, điều đó không đúng… ai đó phải nuôi sống bản thân và gia đình bằng phát minh và công sức của mình… hãy tiếp tục phát huy
