Emerging from underground vaults, you enter a scorched world, hunting for the Core of Creation across mysterious Secret Realms. Customize your build with nine distinct shooting styles, form squads, and battle both mutated creatures and rival players. Ashfall isn’t a gacha game, but it introduces a gacha-like mechanic via the “Chip Box.”
The Story
After a global nuclear war sparked by the rise of artificial intelligence, the sky turned black with ash, cities crumbled, and nature was torn apart. Humanity, seemingly on the brink of extinction, retreated into massive underground shelters known as Vaults. Decades passed. Beneath domes of steel, survivors endured hunger, thirst, and an aching nostalgia for the skies above.
You are one such survivor awakened and tasked with venturing to the ravaged surface. Your mission: to journey through the scorched deadlands and seek the Core of Creation, a mythical key said to hold the power to rebuild the world. Beyond the Vault, you’ll face sun-scorched deserts, decaying city ruins, mangled tech remnants, and grotesque, mutated entities invading the edge of the wasteland.
