Azur Lane is a mobile side-scrolling shooter game that combines RPG and gacha elements. In Azur Lane, players collect and command warships personified as female characters, known as shipgirls. Each shipgirl represents a historical warship from nations that participated in World War II.
Story
The plot of Azur Lane takes place in a fantasy world where historical warships are anthropomorphized into beautiful girls. This world is under threat from a mysterious force known as the Siren — an alien species with overwhelming power, intent on destroying humanity and conquering Earth.
Instead of warring among themselves, the nations of the world have united to fight against the Sirens. This alliance, called Azur Lane, gathers the most powerful warships from various nations to face the threat. However, conflicts and divisions still exist within Azur Lane itself.
