Defend X is a true mobile fortress: you command a squad of heroes from five elemental factions, weaving together pierce, blast, and bounce skills to form a maze of damage that halts wave after wave of monsters. Each level is a mid-combat puzzle build your frontline, unlock talent cards, and gear up to pivot your strategy. Once you’ve mastered the rhythm of PvE, the Arena pushes you into real-time manual battles, while the roguelike mode throws in twists every time you climb the tower.
The Story
When the skies cracked open with thick black “seams,” monsters poured down like a hailstorm. Ancient defenses stone circles on hills, glowing monoliths in the woods awakened after centuries of silence. Humanity called it the “First Wave,” and since that day, every sunrise has tested whether the bastions still stand against the demonic tide.
To stem the chaos, the five factions Wind, Fire, Water, Light, and Dark set aside old grudges and gathered around a shared war map. Each hero carries a legacy: some etch runes that let arrows pierce layered armor, others trigger seismic explosions, while a few bend the trajectory of attacks to bounce like lightning across the battlefield.
