Mist Sequence

Mist Sequence (雾境序列) is a real-time tactical role-playing game (SRPG) set in a fantasy world with retro-futuristic elements, independently developed by Starlight Network. Players take on the role of an investigator in the Mist Investigation Unit, embarking on a journey to explore a continent shrouded in enigmatic fog.

Story

The continent of Taimulan, where the story unfolds, was once a prosperous land under the protection of the gods. However, after a war that lasted for millennia, Taimulan fell into decline, leaving only the remnants of humanity. The continent is now divided among four major powers: the Unoshia Federation, the Kingdom of Komitis, the City-State of Osan, and the Philieting Empire.

Disaster strikes when a massive fog suddenly emerges from the north, engulfing the province of Belur on the empire’s western border. This strange mist not only isolates the land but also drives those who enter it into madness. At the same time, terrifying monsters begin to emerge from within the fog, threatening the survival of the last remaining inhabitants of the continent.
