Story
Yusuke Urameshi, a high schooler who prefers sleeping in over showing up early, was the type of carefree delinquent who’d rather brawl than study until he did something no one expected: he sacrificed his life to save a child from an accident. The problem? The Spirit World had never anticipated Yusuke doing something noble, so they had no proper procedure for processing his soul.
And so, from a brash troublemaker, Yusuke becomes an unlikely “Spirit Detective,” tasked with handling supernatural incidents, spirits, and demons sneaking around to disturb the human world’s order. But he’s not alone at his side are big names like Kuwabara, with a heart of fire and punches to match; Hiei, silent yet sharp as a demon blade; and Kurama, a plant-manipulating genius wrapped in the charm of a gentle heartthrob.
